Review: Ciate London’s Liquid Velvet Matte Lipstick

by
Hi guys!
How have you been? Hope you enjoyed reading my previous post where I have styled 4 different looks based on the different types of Valentine dates. I celebrated valentines by doing something which I love the most and that is spending time with my loved ones and watching movie in the comfort of my house wearing pj’s. Yes! there are days when I simply love being at home and just brainstorm over new ideas for the blog or spend time with my family or friends. Do you go through such days as well?
So this is the first post where I will be reviewing a makeup product. Honestly, I don’t like wearing makeup all the time and at home I am on complete makeup detox but since the time I have started blogging, I need to wear makeup more often, because of which my makeup skills have improved a lot. I am not sure if you guys must have noticed but I like to go bold with my eye makeup and keep it a bit subtle when it comes to the lips because I think it suits me well. That is the reason I decided to write this blog about the lipstick which I wear all the time whether it’s a casual day look or a glam evening look, this is my go to shade. I am talking about Ciate London’s Liquid Velvet Matte Lipstick in the “Swoon” shade which is nudish in tone.
These liquid velvet matte lipsticks are available in 21 shades but I specifically bought the swoon shade because it suits my skin tone well and I can use it almost everyday. I am a big fan of nude lipsticks and no brand offers variations in nude tone as Ciate London. The lipstick is highly pigmented and has a creamy velvety texture. It consist of incredibly hydrating ingredients which prevents my lips from drying up after a while and lasts for almost 3 to 4 hours.  The precision tip of the applicator helps me to apply the lipstick without the need of a lip liner and guess what its got a lovely delicious fragrance as well. If you are planning to wear this lipstick for those am to pm days, I suggest you carry it along. It can be removed easily with a cotton swab and you dont have to rub your lips again and again leaving them chapped. Its available at a MRP of Rs 1,750.
These are few of the looks where I am wearing this shade –

I give a heads up to this collection of  Ciate London’s Liquid Velvet Matte Lipsticks and will continue to post more pictures wearing it. Lets see if you can spot it…
Until next time,
XOXO Dimpi
